TravelManagers have topped what was a fantastic 2009 financially with their best ever January indicating an exciting 2010 is upon them.

Chief executive of TravelManagers, Mr Joe Araullo says the organic growth in sales by their personal travel managers is significant.

"Those who have been trading for between 12 months and 23 months plus those with more than 24 months with the company are experiencing outstanding results. Consequently this means TravelManagers is not reliant on expansion for achieving meaningful growth."

Mr Araullo says as a result of their organic growth resources are better employed.

"Our support staff can truly do what they are employed to do - support our personal travel managers to grow their business and improve their efficiency. If we were constantly worried about growing our network through attracting new personal travel managers there could be a danger our support staff may be distracted from our core task of assisting existing personal travel managers to develop their business."

As a result of the constant support TravelManagers personal travel managers receive, the January results show those who have been with the company for 24 months had a 17 percent increase in sales over January 2009.

Those with less than 23 months but more than 12 months prior trading had an increase in sales of 20 percent compared to January 2009.

"Total sales for January 2010 net of taxes and customer discounts were up 83.2 percent on those recorded in January 2009, and up 22.5 percent on what we had budgeted for January 2010."

Mr Araullo says a further indication that the market is on an upward move is the average value of sales.

"If we look at this for January 2010, sales per transaction are 14 percent higher than the average value per transaction for January 12 months ago."

Mr Araullo says this has a ripple on effect for the average value of commission earned for each personal travel manager.

"This has increased by 23.5 percent compared to the average commission earned by the personal travel managers in January 2009.?

While there has been growth in sales compared to January 2009 across all of the individual states, of particular note once adjusted for individual state contributions, is the growth in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.

Mr Araullo says TravelManagers is committed to delivering the best commission levels to home-based consultants including take-home pay after deducting fees.

"TravelManagers offers the best support in all areas of the business including customer marketing and technology delivering 24/7 access to full client files enabling personal travel managers to work with absolutely no restraints on when they can or when they want to work."

Mr Araullo is confident that TravelManagers has the best partner supplier arrangements in the mobile and home-based consulting category.
