TravelManagers has recently launched its first honeymoon catalogue in partnership with Sydney based Honeymoon Worldwide Holidays.

In addition to introducing TravelManagers and the personal travel manager concept, executive general manger, Mandy Scotney says the 16 page colour brochure recommends a range of idyllic honeymoon destinations.

"It's filled with inspirational destinations which we have hand-picked for people looking for a romantic, special place to escape to for their honeymoon."

Ms Scotney says the honeymoon market is ideally suited to the skills a personal travel manager has and the services they provide.

"It is such an important holiday that the couple really need to know and feel confident that they have someone who is not only hugely knowledgeable regarding what is the right product for them but knows how to go that extra mile. This is what makes a honeymoon extra special and unforgettable."

The catalogue was released in February with a great response.

"We'd had lots of referrals from people who received the catalogue and have then passed it on to someone they know who is getting married. We certainly want to be more active in generating awareness of our personal travel managers' expertise in this area with many of them participating in the honeymoon expos, wedding open days and various bridal fairs across the country."

?Ms Scotney says their move into this area has come about as a result of the sharing of personal travel managers sharing their success with other personal travel managers.

"Our culture is such that personal travel managers are eager to share what works wells and exchange promotional ideas with each other. ?Our personal travel managers in Western Australia have, at the initiative of personal travel manager Kathy Purves, been involved for three years in the Annual Dusk Bridal Fair at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre and now TravelManagers will have a presence at the honeymoon expos in Queensland and Victoria and possibly in New South Wales."

As a result of these expos TravelManagers is forming alliances with suppliers that have a complementary product or service.

"Based on the relationships we've formed our services will expand in this area and we look forward to implementing these in the coming weeks, it certainly is a growth area."

Ms Purves says that enquiries received at the Perth Bridal Fair indicate the most desired destinations ?for weddings, in order of interest, ?are Bali, Phuket, Mauritius, New Zealand and the South Pacific especially Fiji. Whereas topping the interest for honeymoon destinations, in order of demand, were Tahiti, Phuket, Bali, Mauritius, and the Maldives.
