Exclusive Partnership for TravelManagers
TravelManagers has been invited to participate as the only retail partner in three travel expos organised by European Travel Experts. The expos will be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane during October and November.

TravelManagers' chief executive officer Joe Araullo says it is a massive coup for not only their company but for the future of personal travel managers in Australia.
"We are incredibly excited by European Travel Experts exclusive invite and congratulate them on their vision of where travel is heading in the future. It is a massive coup for TravelManagers, our personal travel managers haven't stopped talking about it since it was announced. It also signals a strong message to the market that personal travel managers are now a serious part of the Australian retail travel space."
Mr. Araullo says the individual wholesalers that make up European Travel Experts are at the top of their field with their specialist destination knowledge of Europe.
"They are experts in their field, niche specialists that provide customers with true value in every sense of the word when it comes to a holiday in Europe. Our personal travel managers share the same passion for knowing the devil in the detail for their customers, it is an ideal partnership."
Mr. Araullo says European Travel Experts should be commended for their vision with the format and timing of the expo.
"Many people these days are looking for specialist product that is operated by smaller companies delivering a unique and personalised holiday. With the UK/Europe shoulder season extending, it is the perfect time to stimulate people's interests in travelling to Europe next year."
Euan Landsborough, managing director of Albatross Travel and the convener of European Travel Experts says there was a deliberate ploy in asking TravelManagers to be their exclusive retail partner.
"We were definitely looking for a like-minded partner and TravelManagers fit that bill perfectly. Their role at the expo will be to pull together the various travel interests people have from the show ensuring nothing has been overlooked in terms of delivering a comprehensive and worry free travel experience for the customers. When we discussed as a group who would add value in this area, we all agreed TravelManagers was leading this space."
Mr. Landsborough says in addition to their members they have invited twenty other non-competing Europe suppliers to also exhibit. The range of expo suppliers covers tours, cruising, trains, coach touring, rental cars, accommodation, airlines and specialist activities.
The expos take place in Sydney on Sunday 18 October, Melbourne Sunday 25 October and Brisbane Sunday 8 November. |
