TravelManagers Australia attend Luxperience in Sydney

With luxury travel continuing to generate plenty of buzz and business, attending the recent Luxperience Sydney forum was a must. The event attracts some of the world’s most exclusive luxury travel providers, who come to network with luxury-focused travel professionals and share the latest in inspiring travel experiences and opportunities.

TravelManagers was represented at Luxperience by our Operations Manager, Troy Coelho, along with personal travel managers (PTMs) Jane Fowler, Jennifer Jones and Kerstin Rheinlander. The forum’s theme was sustainability, with a number of keynote and panel speakers addressing the need to “put your money where your mouth is”.
According to Adele Labine-Romain, Head of Travel & Tourism for Roy Morgan, the top outbound markets for Australians seeking luxury travel experiences are Indonesia, New Zealand and Japan, with the US and UK fighting it out for 4th and 5th places. She provided valuable insights into what Australian travellers are craving from their luxury travel experiences, both domestic and international, noting that they crave exotic experiences that don’t require them to forgo their creature comforts.
