TravelManagers Reveals Global Voices of Resilience to Close 2026 National Conference

TravelManagers has revealed its 2026 National Conference will conclude with a session packed with inspiration, designed to bring attendees full circle through reflection, resilience and the conference theme of connection.

“We are privileged to be joined by Cheng Lei and Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert: two remarkable women who came together after enduring the incredibly rare experience of being unlawfully imprisoned on foreign soil,” explains Executive General Manager, Michael Gazal. “Having withstood parallel experiences that most of us can scarcely imagine, they now use their bond to create good, share love and foster meaningful connections.”

Unlike previous years in which the annual event has typically ended with a keynote presentation, Gazal says this year’s closing session is better suited to the format of an intimate fireside chat.

“Cheng’s and Kylie’s journeys serve as powerful testament to resilience, courage and the enduring importance of human connection, reminding us of what truly matters, both in business and in life. We feel incredibly privileged to conclude our 2026 conference with a conversation that is sure to stay with our attendees long after the conference has ended.”
