Twice a year, TravelManagers conducts a series of state meetings that provide its network of personal travel managers (PTMs) supplier updates, training seminars and networking opportunities. The latest round of meetings, held in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth, were well attended by both new and long-serving PTMs and a variety of partner suppliers.

Presentations and workshops from TravelManagers’ National Partnership Office (NPO) and its team of state-based Business Partnership Managers (BPMs) covered a variety of useful topics, including systems and technology, ‘tips for working smarter’, and ‘how to run a successful travel expo’. Attendees were also updated on the latest news for the company’s 2024 National Conference, which is scheduled for Cairns, QLD, in September.

For PTM Chris Scott, who is based in South Lake, WA, it was his first experience of a TravelManagers state meeting: “I found the supplier presentations and updates really informative and worthwhile. Being new to TravelManagers, meeting many of the other WA-based PTMs was great, there is a good sense of community and a strong culture.”

Catching up with colleagues and partner suppliers is a highpoint of every TravelManagers state meeting: (L-R) PTM Michelle Zienkiewicz, Tim Smith (Customer Success Manager, Room Res), Michael Gazal (Executive General Manager, TravelManagers), Kellie Smith (Head of Business Development and Customer Success, Room Res) and PTM Carolyn Johnston.
