From Five-Star Luxury to Eco-Adventures: TravelManagers’ PTMs Experience the Best of Bali
Personal travel managers (PTMs) who attended TravelManagers’ national conference last month also used their time in Bali as an opportunity to explore more of the destination beyond the event location of Nusa Dua. Whether dipping a toe into the world of luxury eco-tourism, or experiencing a distinctly Balinese take on relaxation in Ubud, conference attendees were invited to choose from an extensive array of hosted and self-guided famils and property inspections.
Eight PTMs, accompanied by Melissa Duffy from TravelManagers’ National Partnership Office (NPO), were hosted by Intrepid on a seven-day itinerary that explored Bali’s scenic interior. A second group flew to the neighbouring island of Sumba, where they were hosted by La Collection at the spectacular Cap Karoso.
- TravelManagers’ PTMs were eager to find out why Cap Karoso was recently named as ‘Best Resort in Indonesia’ by Condé Nast Traveller. An incredible sunset dinner overlooking the Indian Ocean cemented their impression that a stay here is well worth the splurge.
- PTMs hosted by Intrepid on their ‘Beautiful Bali’ itinerary began their experience with a welcome fit for royalty at one of Ubud’s exquisite royal palaces.
- The Legian Seminyak provided lunch and a tour for eight visitors.
The Legian Seminyak hosted a group of eight PTMs for a pre-conference inspection and lunch, ensuring that even those who were short on time in Bali were still able to brush up on their local product knowledge.
