TravelManagers’ Training Roadshow Equips PTMs for Success
TravelManagers has just concluded its week-long training roadshow across the Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. This roadshow included a trilogy of training sessions that began with TravelManagers’ IT Project Manager, Renee Meads, walking attendees through some newly developed in-house booking platform and itinerary builder called TripBuilder.
Meads was joined by Fares and Ticketing Manager, José Cañas, whose session tackled some of the more complex issues in airfares, such as the growing trend of long-haul fares being filed without baggage allowance. His content also included a refresher on NDC, and provided practical tips for using Amadeus Graphic Mode, with a strong focus on ensuring Personal Travel Managers (PTMs) feel confident navigating these changes.

Melbourne PTMs engaged in a training session delivered by Troy Coelho, Operations Manager.
The third chapter of each training day came from Operations Manager Troy Coelho, who delivered an extensive update on TravelManagers’ luxury offering. He covered everything from the benefits of TravelManagers’ partnership with Signature Travel Network, to tips on how to maximise client value and margin through the right partnerships, as well as providing a preview of what’s next in the luxury travel space.
“We are committed to making life easier for our PTMs by investing in our people and technologies,” Coelho explains. “This roadshow was a chance to share expertise and provide our PTMs with innovative, practical tools for success.”
