On Saturday evening, TravelManagers repeated its success at the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), once again picking up the award for Most Outstanding Mobile Advisor Network.

In addition, the naming of Rose Febo, who is TravelManagers’ representative for Hawthorne, QLD, as Most Outstanding Mobile/Home-Based Travel Advisor represented a back-to-back win for TravelManagers in this category as well.

According to TravelManagers’ Executive General Manager, Michael Gazal, Febo shared finalist status with her fellow personal travel managers (PTMs), Carli Hester from Mount Duneed, VIC and Tanya Patterson from Clyde North, VIC.

“In 2019, TravelManagers’ PTMs made up two of the five finalists in the Mobile/Home-Based Advisor category: a huge achievement which has been surpassed in 2022 by having three of the five finalists, clearly demonstrating TravelManagers’ dominance in this sector.”

“We’re delighted that TravelManagers also represented in the inaugural People’s Choice Award,” he adds, “with PTM Janelle Beucker from Evans Head, NSW named as a finalist.”

After a three-year pandemic-induced hiatus, Gazal says the repeat wins represent an exciting conclusion to a year that has seen the home-based brand emerge from the pandemic stronger than ever.

“Throughout 2022, we have seen sales continue to grow, with record-breaking sales in May, June and August,” he explains. “We also announced an exciting new affiliation with luxury product partner, Signature Travel Network, in February and held a highly-successful post-COVID national conference in September.

Gazal believes the introduction of TravelManagers Customer Fund (TCF) as part of TravelManagers ‘Peace of Mind’ consumer protection promise in August was another key factor in its success at the gala awards dinner in Sydney on Saturday night.

“The response from suppliers, PTMs and clients has been overwhelmingly positive and affirms the value of having in place the various elements which comprise this industry-leading initiative.”

“To approach the end of 2022 on such a high note is an incredible testament to the dedication of our 420-plus personal travel managers (PTMs) and 50-plus National Partnership Office (NPO) support team over the past three years,” he concludes.
