TravelManagers Celebrates Top 50 Personal Travel Managers
TravelManagers celebrated the efforts of the Top 50 Personal Travel Managers (PTMs) at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Sydney last month, recognising those who had achieved the highest transferred commission in the last financial year.
The day included guest speakers, including TTC Managing Director Toni Ambler, who shared insights into her own journey and approach to maintaining that ever-elusive work/life balance.
Judith Crompton, Chair of the House of Travel Australia Board, was also on hand to share her knowledge and sat down for an inspirational Q+A about her career and the lessons she’s learned. Crompton also reflected on the future challenges and opportunities for PTMs, including AI and the influence it will have on the industry moving forward.

The celebrations finished with a harbourside cruise where the attendees were treated to the sights of Vivid Sydney from the unique vantage point on the water.
Julia McLean, National Business Partnership Manager for TravelManagers, said it was a wonderful day of celebration; full of positivity, excitement and passion for the travel industry. “The Top 50 event is always a day to remember, recognising high performers and celebrating each other’s success. What we love the most about acknowledging our Top 50 PTMs is that the group changes every year, there is an 18-22% movement, showing how dynamic this group is and that there is opportunity for any of the PTMs to make it onto the list. We’re particularly thrilled that there were 9 new PTMs who joined the Top 50 this year, which is an incredible achievement.”
The 2025 Top 50 group grew their average commission by 9.25% from the previous cohort, a testament to Australians’ continued passion for travel and the value a PTM provides when it comes to planning a holiday, regardless of whether it’s a quick trip across the country or an international trip of a lifetime.
