TravelManagers’ Troy Coelho joins Accor Advisory Board as APAC representative

TravelManagers’ Operations Manager, Troy Coelho, recently attended the Accor Luxury Collective (ALC) Advisory Board at the iconic Raffles in Singapore. He was one of just three members invited to represent luxury-focused travel brands from Australia, and was joined by representatives from across the Asia Pacific region.

“This was the first ALC advisory board to be held in APAC,” Coelho explains, “during which we were invited to share roadblocks for agents, booking patterns and advisor concerns when dealing with hotels directly and hear from Accor about the luxury brand development. Additionally, we touched on what they can do for our personal travel managers (PTMs) that specialise in selling luxury travel. The event was much more than just business, it was about collaborating to deliver meaningful, curated experiences that reflect the essence of the brands and the destinations they represent.”

Ever-iconic Raffles Singapore set the scene for the inaugural Accor Luxury Collective Advisory Board for Asia Pacific, attended by TravelManagers’ Troy Coelho (3rd from left).

Coelho says the three-day forum was characterised by connection, collaboration, and forward-looking insights into the future of luxury and lifestyle travel.

“In Australia alone, the luxury leisure travel market is estimated to be worth close to ten billion dollars this year. We value our strong partnership with brands like Accor, which enable us to participate in visionary initiatives, like the ALC Asia Pacific Advisory Board, that look to actively shape the future of luxury and lifestyle travel.”
