Seven Things I Learned from My First Global Signature Travel Network Conference

In early December 2025, a group of personal travel managers and members of our National Partnership Office team attended Signature Travel Network’s annual conference in Las Vegas. We asked our Marketing Manager, Tania Myles, to share her thoughts on her first Signature conference and explain what’s so special about the event, which attracts thousands of luxury-minded travel experts from around the world each year.

1. It’s far more than a just another “product fair”.

What you learn goes way beyond destinations and hotels. Of course, there are workshops and trade shows you can attend for different destinations and products, but there are also plenty of business and motivational keynote presentations, marketing workshops and selling skills workshops.

2. It was a great introduction to Signet.

Signet is Signature’s central hub, where member agencies and advisors can access a wealth of resources, ranging from marketing tools and supplier information to training modules and exclusive offers. It’s essentially a digital platform designed to support Signature Travel Network’s members in enhancing their business operations and staying updated with the network’s features and services. It’s such a comprehensive and helpful system, but it can be hard to know where to start with just how much is in there. Having seen for myself how often it is referenced, demonstrated, and embedded in workflows has given me context for its application that you simply couldn’t have from logging in solo.

3. Even more education happens outside the sessions.

Don’t get me wrong – the structured sessions are incredible. However, they are only part of the wider picture. Hallway chats, networking, and chance seating often deliver insights and contacts that are just as valuable.

4. It’s genuinely fun, with next level activations.

Over the past few years there has been a move away from the traditional gala event, instead opting for a night of pure fun. Making the most of Allegiant Stadium (new stadium and home of the Las Vegas Raiders), we all dressed in our own favourite teams’ kit (whether it was a Premier League team, NRL, AFL, NBA, NFL etc.), and took to the field for game-day snacks, dressing room tours, and on-field activities like taking a shot at goal or catching a ball in the touchdown zone. There were also caricature artists, cornhole games and other less hands-on activities – truly something for everyone. With the 2026 conference moving to Orlando, I’m sure they’ll be able to match the fun factor. The social aspect of Signature’s annual conference – the shared energy and sense of community – are powerful (and often underrated) components of the overall experience.

5. Preparation massively changes what you get out of it.

The more you put into your registration profile to explain who you are, what you do and what you sell – it all makes a huge difference once you are there. Your trade show appointments are set for you, based on this information, so be sure to go in with clear goals and priorities of what you want to take home with you.

6. The scale is no joke – plan for physical and mental load.

The events space at the Venetian Las Vegas (where the 2025 event was hosted) is huge, and the hotel tower is a walk. In 2026, they are relocating to Orlando World Center Marriott in Florida, where they will take over the entire complex to accommodate the expected 4,000 participants. You should expect long days, and with hundreds of exhibitors, back-to-back speakers and workshops, it can be a physically and mentally demanding experience. Make sure you get a good sleep each night, stay hydrated, wear comfortable shoes, avoid needing to duck back to your room, and have a clear game plan before you arrive. And conversely, embrace the unexpected opportunities to create new connections when they arise spontaneously.

7. You leave with direction, not just contacts.

Genuinely, take a notebook and pen (or digital version) so you can make lots of notes. Save all the contacts you make. You are going to learn heaps and meet a lot of interesting people, and the real value from attending is amplified once you get home, when you start putting things into practice and utilising the new contacts you’ve made.
